A sacred guardian and divine protector who removes financial and spiritual obstacles, helping practitioners overcome poverty. Zambala (also spelled Jambhala or Dzambhala) is the Tibetan Buddhist deity of wealth, fortune, and abundance.
Venerable Phakyab Rinpoche
(Venerable: respect for wisdom, Phakyab: bright, shining one, Rinpoche: Precious One) has walked us through the meditation, and now he’s stressing some of the conditions that we need for a successful practice.
We must return to this meditation again and again. It’s not enough to do it one time, or a few times. It may be hard at first, but by returning to it again and again we can develop skill at it. One doesn’t become a great meditator easily. You really need a qualified teacher, from whom you can learn the meditation properly.
There are also three things involved. First, there is hearing the meditation from the teacher. Second, there is contemplating and thinking about what you’ve learned so you really get it in your mind. Third, you meditate on it- which is deeper than just thinking about it. Even in these degenerative times
